Description
The kit has been selected by R_PROJEKT as an upgrade to the 1.8/2.0 TFSI EA888 Gen2, Gen3 engines to significantly increase airflow into the turbocharger and improve performance . It is the perfect complement for the air intake with the standard box or with a sports filter and for stock or reprogrammed vehicles.
The kit consists of several parts:
- A larger diameter intake elbow on the turbo inlet, free-flowing, CNC machined from aluminum that replaces the small, restrictive plastic inlet. Without this elbow, you are wasting the potential of your intake system, as intake flow has to slow down to pass through the narrow, restrictive curve of the factory part.
- A muffler bypass pipe at the turbo outlet. The OEM turbo silencer is a part that causes air turbulence at the turbo outlet. Its function is to reduce the sound of the turbo but as a result, it restricts the air passage and reduces engine performance. This part will improve the sound of your turbo, the response to the throttle and the efficiency of the engine due to the passage of air flow without restrictions or turbulence.
- A silicone hose with a larger diameter and a more resistant material than the standard one, connects the turbo intake elbow with the filter box or sports filter.

- 1 x Muffler Override Pipe with O-Ring
- 1 X Silicone sleeve with 2 clamps.
