If the software is not v70.00.021 or higher, you must update the firmware before beginning the installation. If you are using an older version of the CMU software, the USB connector compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto may not be recognized. (Before updating the firmware, you must remove the SD card and insert it after completing the update; otherwise, the GPS or navigation will not work properly.)
