⚠️ IMPORTANT: Identify your System (CIC vs NBT)
These models underwent a system change around 2013. It is vital to choose the correct option so that the video connector (LVDS) fits:
CIC System (X3 2010 - early 2013):
- Screen connector with 4 PINS.
- Older style main menu (red selection circle).
NBT System (X3/X4 2013 - 2018):
- Screen connector with 6 PINS.
- More modern main menu, with transitions and red lines.
- If your car has a Fiber Optic cable, you must remove it from the original connector and insert it into the new supplied connector to get audio:
