R PROJEKT has selected this product to provide a direct mounting solution on the original discharge valves, used in many European vehicles. The original solenoid coil is good (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve, so why replace it?), the weak point is in the valve mechanism. The DV+ valve solves this problem by replacing weak valve components with anodized aluminum components and a copper piston machined to exact tolerances. The end result is sharper throttle response, faster valve actuation, and the ability to maintain higher turbo boost.
