Mercedes changed its multimedia system in late 2015. It is essential to choose the correct version for the screen to work:
NTG 4.5 System (until approx. 2015)
- Menu with carousel/circle icons or black top/bottom bars.
- Usually requires activating AUX mode.
NTG 5.0 / 5.1 System (from approx. 2016)
- More modern menu, flatter and colorful icons.
- Audio usually runs via USB adapter (included).
